GRW Book Circle

Your community of practice for sensitive self-development

A relational space for reflection, growth and real conversation about what we’re reading.

I asked my community and here’s what I learned...

You don’t need another app.
You don’t need more content.
You don’t need someone telling you how to do “self-care.”

You might just need a meeting place.

So in response, I’m hosting a small, live book circle for thoughtful women who want to explore wellness, boundaries, burnout, identity, creativity, and personal growth in community.

This bookclub is equal parts guided facilitation and open conversation.

I didn’t want to just create another course, a content library, or a social media group. I wanted to answer your call for connection.

This circle is structured and relational so that you can:

  • Talk about what you’re reading

  • Deepen your understanding through discussion

  • Reflect on how the ideas apply to your real life

  • Build connection with like-minded women

  • Practice integrating change slowly and sustainably

If you’ve been craving meaningful discussion and a gentler pace of growth, this may be a place for you.

These circles are relational spaces first. We will allow thoughtful integration to build slowly, through conversation and connection.

Each book circle gathering includes…

  • 45 minutes of guided discussion, reflection prompts, and simple exercises

  • An optional 15-minute open connection period to stay and chat

  • Light email touchpoints between sessions

  • A container with a clear beginning and end

Groups are intentionally small (12 women or fewer) so that real connection can form. I’ve deliberately kept the technology simple.

No extra platforms to log into.
No private social media groups.
No overwhelming homework.

Just a thoughtful container, held with care.

Here’s what to expect…

A bookclub through the seasons…

  • Real Self-Care: A Transformative Program for Redefining Wellness by Pooja Lakshmin, MD

    March 31 - June 2, 2026

Explore the distinction between wellness principles (compassion) and methods (bubble baths) within an imperfect system that keeps us striving to perfect or optimize ourselves. This book challenges the cultural pressures that frame self-care as an individual responsibility while ignoring the structural forces that shape our stress and burnout. Learn how to create a more sustainable practice of self-care rooted in agency, boundary-setting, and self-leadership.

  • Emergent Strategy: Shaping Change, Changing Worlds by Adrienne Maree Brown

    June 23 - August 25, 2026

Explore how small, relational actions can create meaningful systemic change. Inspired by patterns in nature, this book invites us to move away from rigid, productivity-driven growth and toward adaptive, interconnected transformation. Learn how to practice change at the scale of relationships by cultivating trust, interdependence, and collective care rather than forcing outcomes through control or urgency.

  • The Power to Quit: Why We Must Stop Trying to Be Everything to Everyone by Annie Duke

    September 15 - November 17, 2026

Examine the often-overlooked skill of strategic quitting in a culture that glorifies grit and persistence. This book challenges the belief that success always requires pushing through, and instead reframes quitting as an intelligent, values-aligned decision. Learn how to evaluate where your time, energy, and ambition are best invested and how letting go can create space for clarity, focus, and sustainable growth.

  • Wintering: The Power of Rest and Retreat in Difficult Times by Katherine May

    January 5 - March 9, 2027

Explore what it means to move through life’s fallow seasons with intention rather than resistance. In a culture that pressures us to stay productive and positive, this book reframes periods of loss, burnout, illness, or transition as necessary cycles of retreat and restoration. Learn how to honor your own “wintering” seasons with gentleness, patience, and quiet resilience by cultivating rest as an ongoing practice for renewal.

My name is Kaylyn.

NBC-HWC, RYT-200

I’m a highly sensitive person who loves holding thoughtful containers that foster care, compassion, and meaningful connection.

If identity context is helpful to you: I’m a hetero-cis white woman (she/her), a survivor, an AuDHD person, and a board-certified health and wellness coach. These lived experiences shape how I understand nervous systems, burnout, power, and the importance of creating spaces that feel both grounded and humane.

I believe we heal and grow in community—with friends, teachers, and skilled support. We are not meant to “figure it out” alone.

The containers I facilitate are collaborative. You won’t be talked at or fixed. You’ll be invited into reflection, dialogue, and shared exploration.

I’m honored to hold the structure, and I trust you to help shape the space we create together. I look forward to meeting you.

This space is for women who…

  • Are reflective and growth-oriented

  • Care about boundaries and nervous system health

  • Want community, not something else to “do”

  • Are navigating burnout, transition, or reinvention

  • Prefer depth over performative wellness

  • Long for meaningful conversation

This is an intentional community where you can practice showing up imperfectly, with the willingness to be changed by what you encounter.

A Thoughtful Space to Grow Together

If you’ve been craving thoughtful conversation, gentle accountability, and meaningful connection, this circle is for you.
